we went to the tulip fields on tuesday afternoon and it was BEAUTIFUL! we had amazing weather and the majority of the tulips were bloomed. there was still quite a few that were being shy but i'm sure this sun we've been having will wake 'em all up by next week. this was the first time scott and i had been back to the tulip fields in five years. we went when we were dating and haven't been back since. every year when april rolls around i always say i wanna go back, well this year we made it happen. brooklin wasn't too interested in the flowers, she just wanted to pick up all the gravel. once we got out of the gravel she just wanted to go out in the grassy field. silly girl. i guess she's not quite old enough to appreciate the beauty of flowers. we had a lot of fun and it was nice to be outside soaking up the sunshine. hopefully it won't be another five years before we get back there.
this is the triple date we went on five years ago. this picture kinda makes me laugh. we look so young. what's really funny is that all of us are now married to our dates. pretty cool!
I pretty much grew up in Bellingham, Wa and I love it. I can't imagine living anywhere else. It's so beautiful here. I'm married to the most amazing man ever. He teaches me so much everyday and I never thought that I would find someone who would love me just the way that I am. We were married in the Seattle LDS temple on November 6, 2004, and we've been in wedded bliss ever since. Our daughter, Brooklin M, arrived February 20, 2008 and she is like my best friend, other than Scott. Our second little sweetheart, Lauren Elise, joined us on December 14th, 2010. She is our sweet smiley baby.
