i'm not sure why, but brooklin absolutely loves this book. she loves to read it. she loves the pictures. and she especially loves the taste. this seems to be the only book that she chews on and it is about to fall apart. we stopped giving it to her, hoping that the next time she got it she would have forgotten about it's wonderful taste, but somehow after a month or so of not having the book, she still remembers her good friend and went right back to gnawing on it's spine. i can't bear to throw it away for the title alone. so, i guess i'll just let her eat it right up.
