tons of tulips!

a few weeks ago we took our annual trip to the skagit valley tulip festival.  brooklin had been asking to go for what seemed like weeks, and we finally made it.  i think we picked the perfect day too.  the sun was shining and the tulips were at full bloom and just breathtaking.

scott is always such a good sport.  i know walking around and looking at a bunch of flowers isn't exactly exciting and his idea of a great time, but he never complains about going and he is always sure to get me to the tulips every year because he knows how much I love them.

field trip to the railroad museum

brooklin's preschool class went on a field trip to the railroad museum in downtown bellingham.  she was so excited!  lauren and i were lucky to get to go with her.  there were really cool tracks set up with trains going around and there was a play table with little wooden trains for the kids to play with.

lauren spent most of her time going up and down the small steps.  she could really care less about the trains.  lol!
