children's museum

one saturday in march we got an invite from our good friends the dahlstrom's to join them at the children's museum down in burlington. 

the kids had a ton of fun, and totally would've stayed all day if we had let them.  but after a few hours of chasing lauren around i was exhausted, to say the least, and so was she, although she was not about to admit it.  :)

 

the dahlstrom boys were running the crane and i think they were hatching a little plan to drop the bucket into the pond.  i'm not sure if that was entirely possible to do, or if that was for sure what they were doing, but it sure looked like it.  i had to catch a picture because i thought it was so funny, and such a boy thing to do.  haha!

there's a boat in the middle of the museum that the kids can climb up into and play.

lauren and daddy spent a lot of time splashing in the water.

and brooklin was practicing her fishing skills.

there's also a little pretend market with food and a cash register.  looks like brooklin had a few customers.
