rock band birthday party!

last weekend we went over to the dahlstrom's to help crystal celebrate her birthday with yummy costco chocolate cake and a rock band party.






we had a lot of fun, and even brooklin got in on the games! we always have good times with these people. :)

office fanatic

we in no way prompted or trained brooklin to do this.



everytime she hears the theme song from the office, she stops whatever she is doing and watches the tv until the song is over. it totally cracks us up.

HELP!

i am coming to my wits end. i need some help. brooklin is going through a stage (i'm hoping it's just a stage) where she can't even make it 30 seconds in the car without whining. seriously, we can't even make it to the end of our street. she whines, yells, cries and sometimes full out screams. i know it has nothing to do with the car seat itself, other than the fact that she may hate being confined. the straps are adjusted correctly and there's nothing poking or uncomfortable going on with her seat. i show her that mommy and daddy have to wear seat belts too. i've tried books, toys, snacks (which seem to work a little), singing, talking, ignoring. i just can't seem to find a solution, and i'm about to go insane. i dread going anywhere with her, but i don't want to just sit at home all day either. i don't know what to do. does anyone have some good ideas? please help!
