HELP!
i am coming to my wits end. i need some help. brooklin is going through a stage (i'm hoping it's just a stage) where she can't even make it 30 seconds in the car without whining. seriously, we can't even make it to the end of our street. she whines, yells, cries and sometimes full out screams. i know it has nothing to do with the car seat itself, other than the fact that she may hate being confined. the straps are adjusted correctly and there's nothing poking or uncomfortable going on with her seat. i show her that mommy and daddy have to wear seat belts too. i've tried books, toys, snacks (which seem to work a little), singing, talking, ignoring. i just can't seem to find a solution, and i'm about to go insane. i dread going anywhere with her, but i don't want to just sit at home all day either. i don't know what to do. does anyone have some good ideas? please help!

I had an idea, but you qualified it had to be a good one. Sorry I can't help you out. my experience with kiddies mostly involves me being a human jungle gym/piggy back man.
get used to it...it never ends!!!! Earplugs. :)Sorry, I don't have any advice either.
Sorry I wish I did but since I'm behind you...you will probably be giving me advice in a few months! Morgan does the same thing sometimes but usually it's because she is bored. The treat cup definitely seemed to help keep her occupied. Good luck I definitely feel for you!! The screaming is about enough to make you pull your hair out sometimes! =)
This may be worth a try.... get a new toy or new toys for her that she can only play with when she is in the car in her seat. when she gets out of the car the toys stay. that way she gets something she likes while sitting in the car and the toys are not old ones that she is board of.
oh i wish i had some ideas....jaida has been like that since the day she was born...she HATES being in any sort of seat.....car seat/high chair/stroller....she whines in all of them....ya it gets old! I love that you had to call somone to find out what our blog said.....i love it...i am soooo nervous to have our kids so close but hey i am 33 and i seriously need to get on the ball or i will be having kids at 50! LOL
