bangs

so, i've always said i was going to let brooklin's hair grow and i wasn't going to cut it, and i for sure was never going to give her bangs. well...

i caved. her hair was starting to drive me crazy. she always looked like a little rag-a-muffin, and she is such an active little girl that her clips never stayed in and i was constantly chasing her around trying to fix the clips so that she didn't have her hair in her eyes and she could see where she was going. i had finally had it, so we paid a little visit to our family beautician, my mom.

i think it turned out pretty cute. i still would rather have grown them out, but i just don't think i have the patience to do it with a toddler. maybe once she gets a little older and actually likes having bows and pony tails, and will keep them in her hair we'll try it. this is way more low maintenance for me. :)

I love it! It makes her look so grown up!

We are just now getting to the grow-out stage with Keira. Her bangs got thicker and thicker every time we cut them and they were reminding me of the horror bangs I had when I was like 9-you know the ones that went back like 1/2 way to the back of the head! I SO do not want to look back and see pictures of my daughter with hair like that! But yeah, at Brookie's age, bangs were sooo much easier! And so cute!
