easter 2010

i am so behind in blogging that i'm not even going to try to go back and see what i missed posting. i'm just going to start with the last pictures on my camera, which happen to be easter.

we've kind of made tradtion of having an easter egg hunt at my parent's house for all of the grandkids. we were lucky enough to have a break in the rainy weather just long enough for the hunt. the kids had a blast. unfortunately i was too wrapped up in my own kid that i didn't get any pictures of the older ones running around frantically. it also didn't help that i ran out of room on my memory card. :/ but i'm sure grandpa got some great video.





me and my little bunny. i guess i can take this opportunity to blog my braces-free smile too. what do ya think? i'm pretty happy with the results and it's nice to not have a mouth full of metal anymore.


the easter bunny left us a suprise. we now have way too much candy in our house. yikes!!! definitely not what i need.




you may be wondering about this next picture. well, while scott and i were in the other room watching general conference, brooklin was eating a snack and playing in the living room. scott went out to check on her because she had started whining, not too unusual for a toddler, right? well, she was complainging about something in her nose. after getting a flashlight to get a better look, scott did indeed find that she had stuffed a crasien up her nose. seriously! we attempted to hold her down and pull it out with tweezers, but that seemed a little too dangersous, given that she wouldn't hold still at all. so, thinking that we probably wouldn'y have much luck, but it was worth a try, we asked her to blow her nose. after a few really good blows it shot right out. i sure am glad she knows how to blow. thankfully, that situation turned out as good as it did.
