scotty REALLY wanted a shotgun for father's day/his birthday this year. 

 

 

 

bonnie and her family came to visit father's day weekend.  amongst the many things they had to squeeze in during their short stay, we were able to visit the zoo in seattle with them.  it was a lot of fun, and most the animals put on quite a show for us.  we were a little worried about the weather being cool and a tad drizzly, but the animals were way more active than if it had been really warm and sunny.  so it turned out to be a great trip. 

 

 

 

i had to add the picture below just to show how much brooklin has grown/changed in the past 3 years.

 

 

these guys (orangutans) are my favorite.  they always seem to be so kind and gentle, and social.  i'm not positive, but i think he was flirting with me.  lol!

 

 

 

 

 

crystal found these care bears while garage saling (i'm sure that's a word, right?) and knowing how much brooklin adores the care bears, she bought them all for her.  what a great friend!  brooklin was so happy.

 

 

this old man turned 30!  we had some friends and family help us celebrate this big milestone.  i am so lucky to have such an amazing man in my life.  one i am so proud of and full of respect for.  he works so hard to take care of me and the girls and always puts us first.
