time to catch up

i feel like the month of July seriously flew by, yet it seemed to be packed with so many fun things. my blog is in desparate need of an update. this may take a while, as i'm totally dreading going through all of my pictures, and loading them on here. it seems like such a daunting task, but if i don't do it soon this nagging feeling is going to absolutely drive me crazy. so, I think it'll be easiest for me to start with the most recent, which was our vacation down to the oregon coast. we had a family reunion at the umpquah lighthouse state park, which is near reedsport, oregon. the scenery was incredible, although we were all wishing that the sun would've made an appearance because it was quite chilly. we had a great time playing on the beach, taking walks around the beautiful lake, eating, playing cards, and enjoying the company of one another. a big thank you to my wonderful mom for organizing the whole thing, we really had a fun time, and took away with us some lasting memories.

this is the yurt that scott, brooklin and i stayed in. it was pretty nice! i especially loved having a bathroom. :)
