so, we're not done yet. last night we ended up at a walk-in clinic because brooklin was having major diarrhea (cha cha cha). seriously, i changed probably 10-11 diapers from about 1:00-8:00. i talked to a nurse yesterday morning and she told me to keep track of brooklin's wet diapers, to make sure she wasn't getting dehydrated, but there was really only one that i could count as wet because i was changing her so often. her poor little bum is so red today and she screams everytime i change her. i think she went through at least 3 outfits and several onesies. i finally just started throwing them away. i'd rather buy new ones then have to scrub poop out of all of them. anyway, the dr. at the clinic said she wasn't dehydrated and we were pretty much doing everything she told us to do. it felt like a wasted trip, but i'm glad i got peace of mind that she is going to be okay, and we just have to endure and get through this. she hasn't had quite as much diarrhea today, but i did change the worst diaper ever first thing this morning. so gross! but i would rather deal with poop than puke, even after all of this. she's still extremely fussy and nothing seems to make her happy. so, life around our house is still kinda miserable. at least scott and i are fine now. i can't wait for things to get back to normal. even semi-normal would be nice.
sorry, another post without pictures, but i guess that's probably okay considering the topic. :)

Thank you for not posting pictures!
See Liz, you're not a horrible mother. you are doing everything you should be. But I agree going to the DR always gives me peace of mind. Hopefully she gets better soon. Poor girl. GIve her a kiss for me. Love you all!
Liz, I am so sorry you guys are going through this! We have been going through something similar for seriously like a month. Reagan will be fine for a few days and then just crash and sounds like she is experiencing some of the same unpleasant symptoms as Brooklin, poor girl. We always end up catching it as well...it is a vicious cycle! Why is EVERYONE sick right now it seems? Hope you guys start to feel better.
Poor Brooklin! I hope she is better soon! (And I'm glad you and Scott are back to normal.)
Man, if we had all the time that we spent in the doctor's office for wasted trips....... It's amazing what that peace of mind does for you though. I remember when Jax got the rotavirus and couldn't stop puking. We ended up going to the ER because it was 2 in the morning. They gave him a green popsicle to eat to hydrate and see if he could keep it down. For the rest of that night he had neon green puke. Fun times.
